Tanvi Chidambaram Launches Platform Sharing Proven Customer Onboarding and Retention Frameworks for B2B Tech

-

Tanvi Chidambaram, a Houston-based customer success manager, today launched a free platform sharing five customer onboarding and retention frameworks with customer success and marketing teams at B2B technology companies. The platform is available at tanvichidambaram.com

The platform includes:

  • First 48 Hours Onboarding Checklist: the actions to complete in a new client’s first two days, from kickoff call to first-week schedule.
  • 30-Day Customer Health Check: a review template for assessing account health one month after onboarding.
  • First Success Review Guide: a structure for agreeing on and reviewing the client’s first measurable outcome.
  • Client Touchpoint Audit Template: a worksheet for mapping and documenting every client interaction across the account lifecycle.
  • Customer Success and Marketing Content Loop Worksheet: a template for turning client feedback and outcomes into marketing content.

The five frameworks are available for free reading on tanvichidambaram.com without the requirement of an account or registration. Chidambaram created the frameworks using the insights gained from her job of managing client relationships, onboarding, retention, and enterprise account management in an IT staffing company located in Houston, a position she has been holding since June 2023.

“The retention issues usually arise within the first few weeks of the relationship, way before there is any discussion of renewals,” stated Chidambaram. “These frameworks were designed by me to demarcate those first few weeks into checkpoints that a team can actually measure. I am publishing them freely in order to give customer success teams something to build on.”

Tanvi Chidambaram Explains Focus on Early Checkpoints and Open Access

“Customer success is all about the first month setting the tone for the remaining part of the journey,” said Tanvi. “If the team only checks up on their clients during quarterly reviews, by that time, the issues that arose within the first week have already escalated. With fixed checkpoints at 48 hours, 30 days, and the first success review, it is easy to catch these issues early before they become big.”

In the content loop worksheet, Tanvi stated, “Customer success teams learn every week from their clients’ needs and challenges, yet this information does not get to marketing teams. The worksheet offers one way for both teams to learn together through one process.”

“I decided to publish these resources for free since there are many small teams that lack any documented onboarding process,” she said.

Platform Breaks a New Client’s First Month Into Three Checkpoints

The core deliverable for the platform consists of an onboarding process consisting of three phases, which segment the first month of work with a new client into a series of fixed milestones, each with a set due date and person in charge:

  • First 48 Hours Onboarding Checklist: outlines tasks to be completed within 48 hours of a contract signing, including the kick-off call, key contacts and objectives confirmation, and week one schedule.
  • 30-Day Customer Health Check: a template filled out 30 days after onboarding started, capturing service utilization, outstanding issues, stakeholder interaction, and initial risks.
  • First Success Review Guide: provides a template for a team and its client to establish one clear objective for success and then review it.

Each checkpoint lists:

  • the questions to ask
  • the information to record
  • The conditions under which an account should be escalated to senior staff

The three resources can be used in sequence or adopted individually, and each is published as a standalone page on tanvichidambaram.com.

Touchpoint Audit and Content Loop Worksheet: Cover the Full Account Lifecycle

Alongside the onboarding sequence, the platform releases two resources that cover the rest of the account lifecycle

.

Client Touchpoint Audit Template

This template is a form that contains all the points of contact between the company and its client, beginning with the first sales transfer to onboarding, support inquiries, checkups, and renewals. Teams fill out this form by identifying the person responsible for each point of contact, mode, frequency, and documentation status of the interaction.

Customer Success and Marketing Content Loop Worksheet

This worksheet provides a process of transferring information from customer success teams to marketing teams in terms of feedback from clients, findings, and frequently asked questions. The following information is included in the form fields:

  • source of insight
  • whether or not the client permits the usage of insight
  • intended format for the content – case study, FAQ, or onboarding guide

This worksheet is the first publicly available worksheet built based on the content loop concept introduced by Chidambaram in her March 2026 article on the website.

Resources Released Free for Customer Success and Marketing Teams at B2B Tech Firms

The five sources are now available starting from today at tanvichidambaram.com for free, without the need for an account or registration. The platform is meant for customer success managers, account managers, and marketing departments working at B2B technology companies, such as IT services or staffing companies, of any organization size. The sources do not depend on any particular software and may be used with a company’s current CRM, ticketing, and project management systems.

The frameworks were created based on her experience in managing client relations, onboarding, client retention, and enterprise accounts at an IT staffing company in Houston, where Chidambaram has worked since June 2023. This release marks her first attempt at publishing her client success strategies in the form of ready-to-use frameworks, as she used to publish them as articles only in the past. With this release, a new category – frameworks – has been added to tanvichidambaram.com along with articles and research projects on the website, and with a publishing date for each framework.

Renewal Preparation and Account Expansion Frameworks Scheduled for March 2027

Chidambaram has scheduled two further frameworks for release on tanvichidambaram.com by March 2027.

Renewal Preparation Framework

The schedule will include checkpoints after 90, 60, and 30 days prior to contract renewal, which include review of account health, stakeholder verification, and documentation of outcomes achieved through the contract period.

Account Expansion Framework

This framework will examine the process of how the customer success team discovers, evaluates, and develops more services for existing customers.

Both will be organized in the exact same way as the five frameworks that currently exist, with specific steps to follow, questions to ask, information to gather, and points to escalate. Once launched, the entire platform will consist of everything from the first 48 hours post-sign-up to renewals and expansions. These two new frameworks will both be free to access, just like the five frameworks that have been launched today. Specific dates for each framework’s launch can be found on tanvichidambaram.com.
